I think that Emirates Airlines is the best company with power to offer at the people a service very good and efficient in the biggest airplane.I´m TCP and cocktail´s expert;I believe that working in this place there isn´t daily routine, there is the privilege and a pleasure. For this and other things,I think in this way.Sincerely,a regard...

... for "poor people" ???! Grow up. Even if your intention was not to, you sound downright snobby and ignorant. Not everyone has money pouring out their ears, so to speak.

Singapore Air gave me a great deal of £399 on their A380 service to Sydney, even a free stop in Singapore. Some of their economy seats are on the upper deck in 2-4-2 config.

So even the lowest paying fare customer can travel on the upper deck in the cosy Economy section. Given their excellent cabin service, its far better than Qantas.

The Economy windows seats on the upper deck have extra storage by the side, due to the gap between windows are seat. They have
lots of nice touchs for Economy that Qantas and Emirates do not give.

Its great to be able to experience the premium classes. However, whats new is that Singapore are giving ordinary low fare paying customers a better experience. Thats what the A380 was all about.

Therefore, I think Singapore have got it right for all classes of passengers.

Personally, I believe "Green" is much better than personal bedside tv's and spacious leg room. But as you are paying for an enjoyable and comforting flight it may be a well suited choice to have a bed and shower and all that. But also in say..... 10 years time where are we going to be? We have to consider our earth that we love so dearly. That is what Qantas is clearly doing.
Also who cares for mirrors and minni bars and showers that leave you refreshed. Blah Blah Blah.I vote for Qantas. Go Green and save our planet from carbon emissions. Sure Emirates is luxurious but id it as environmentally friendly as the Qantas aeroplane.
I am currently doing an assignment that ensures that it is not. The Qantas is totaly and utterly Green!
And also... Dan, Qantas has also won awards for comfort and design.

I feel sorry for you Elisabeth and I agree with you. Ha. I think I would go on a cruise if I wanted a comfortable bed too.

Of course I am not confusing Singapore with Emirates. The Singapore Airlines Suites are extolled for the reasons above.

But if you care for tackyness and gharish wood everywhere from your minibar to the toilet seat you'll be sitting on, then I suppose Emirates is for you. You can't buy taste !

If you care for a real bed, a real mattress and heaps of personal space together with fantastic inflight service and catering, then Singapore Airlines is for you.

Kind Sir thanks for commenting. Are you sure you are not confusing Singapore with Emirates? I think Emirates 1st class wins hands down. I would probably pick Singapore over Qantas for the cheaper seats, their food is always a lot better than Qantas's to start off with. It just seemed to me that if you are going first class - and you have the choice on the route - which you do from Singapore to Dubai - then I would go Emirates all the way!

Nothing special and cheap?

I would kindly ask my dear lady that you reconsider.

Consider the Suites. Your own private cabin with wardrobe and storage areas. A 35" wide armchair upholstered by Masters at Poltrona Frau who also upholster Ferraris. A chaise lounge to dine and interact with a partner or colleague. A world's first - an actual bed complete with mattress and bed linen by French design house Givenchy.

Consider the Business Class. The widest in its class with a great amount of personal space to eat, sleep or relax. It has won accolades from many both in the industry and passengers.

Finally consider the Economy Class with more legroom and thoughtful touches such as a personal reading light that is unobtrusive creating a better environment for all.

Nothing special and cheap certainly does not appear to apply to Singapore Airlines A380. Now, if you look at Qantas'.....! ;-P

Singapore Airlines seems to be doing nothing special with their A380 - they don't have to of course, as they had the first mover advantage and they are aggressive discounters. Emirates are over the top luxury, Qantas is "green" and Singapore is - well - cheap(ish)
