This Gold Coast home, East Coast of Australia, has a good deal of celebrity provenance, including, Emmy award winner Sarah Michelle Geller, who stayed at the home during the filming of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Scooby Doo”. Other “A list” media celebrities have holidayed in the property which forms part of the colourful home atmosphere. This luxury beach house was also used as the set for the mini series “Pacific Drive”.

According to Curbed, a New York property blog, Matt Damon has splashed out $20m on a luxurious New York apartment. The Bourne series star is rumoured to have bought a penthouse apartment in an Upper West Side neighbourhood in Manhattan. The building’s representatives refused to comment on the rumours, but lets hope this purchase is less traumatic than the last one which apparently cost him “everything he owned,” when his home flooded back in 2006.

A Fan Buys A Piece Of Michal Jackson History for $3.1 Million

Las Vegas Mega Agents Zar Zanganeh and Lee Medick sold the home Michael Jackson rented in Las Vegas at 2785 S. Monte Cristo Way for $3.1 Million today. The 15,461 square foot, seven bedrooms, ten bath mansion includes a tennis court, basketball court, twenty-seat theater and extensive security features on a one acre lot. The sale also represents the largest home sold in Las Vegas in almost one year.

Unlike the unfortunate Nicholas Cage, who is losing several properties to foreclosure auctions, Cher is also auctioning off some property – but not under duress it would appear. Cher has selected Concierge Auctions to auction her property at the Hualalai Resort, on the exclusive Kona-Kohala Coast in Hawaii, on Monday, January 18th, the company announced. Meticulously designed by Cher and completed in December 2009, the 8,821-square-foot luxury residence has never been offered for sale.

Ouch! Two luxury homes in New Orleans owned by actor Nicholas Cage have been seized and placed up for auction after a local lender foreclosed on them. Things are a little messy as the homes already have $6.6 million worth of liens on them courtesy the Internal Revenue Service.
