Brady re-listed his condo right around the same time that his girlfriend, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, listed her West Village penthouse.

As we mentioned previously, the three-bedroom, 3.5 bath condo comes with full hotel service from the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, including a full-time doorman and concierge service.

The four bedroom, 3 bath house is listed at $475,000. Listing information indicates that the home has a full basement, 3 car garage, and has just under 3000 square feet. It’s been on the market for about a week.

Favre drama gripped Wisconsin’s football fans as they wondered whether he’d actually retire or try to come back. Again. We’re not sure of the details of his past attempts to retire, but we’ve heard a much different story from our friends in Wisconsin than we did through the national news. And let’s just say that diehard Packers’ fans are none-too-happy with their coach right now.

The home is modest, nothing really indicating that a multi-million-dollar quarterback lives there. Of course, we’re sure that traces of the family have been removed since they have moved on. There’s a cute little family room with powder blue walls. It’s a little boring, but cozy. Someone can make good use of it.

The kitchen isn’t large, but it has a small island and seating at the bar for four. It’s open to the dining room, which can be good for casual entertaining. We’re not big fans of the white appliances, but we suppose it blends with the white cabinets. We love hardwood floors and are glad to see them, but something about the decor doesn’t work. It could be the faux finish in an almost lime green. But otherwise, we could see cooking and hanging out with the family here.

Wisconsinites will miss their favorite quarterback. And we have to admit that it pains us to watch the Packers and we can’t quite bring ourselves to cheer for the Jets either, even if Favre is there.

Listing information indicates 15,000 square feet of living space, while original reports of his purchase list it at just under 9,000. Sounds like someone’s been doing some adding on in the last 17 years or so. Wahlberg purchased the place for slightly under $5 million.

The 1.4 acre property includes a 2-story private guest house, a basketball court, and a massive gym with a boxing ring. And take a look at that pool - a waterfall, grotto, and cabanas wired for sound and flatscreens. That’s some serious relaxing space there. And in case that’s not enough, the home also has a 34mm digital theatre and screening room.

The listing also touts 2 luxurious living rooms, bedroom suites that all open to lush gardens and resort-like settings. Because where else would a former Calvin Klein model live?

Okay, we jest. A little. Who knew that when Wahlberg hit the music scene that he’d model underwear and then go on to be a (somewhat) decent actor and an executive producer of not one, but two HBO series? He’s been in movies ranging from Boogie Nights to Three Kings (with Clooney) to The Perfect Storm (also with Clooney) to the upcoming The Lovely Bones.

The Chicago Tribune reports the news of Warner’s contract to buy a 10,000+ square-foot, two story penthouse with an original price tag of $40 million. Of course, the actual contracted amount has not been revealed.

Warner is notoriously media-shy. He doesn’t grant interviews anymore. He guards his privacy religiously. And that’s reportedly what may have attracted him to the Spire. It’s a very exclusive, private building. And with the penthouse on floors 141 and 142, Warner will have the tallest residential floor in the world. And 360-degree views of Chicago.

Beanie Babies were astonishingly popular almost from the beginning. A limited run of characters helped inflate the demand for the toys. People would wait anxiously for the release of new Babies, hoping that they could get their hands on the stuffed toys. In the height of their popularity, Beanie Babies were selling for up to hundreds of dollars in the collector arena.

The demand was insane. Stores sold out almost immediately. It was rare that a store actually sold the Babies for only $5. Most of them I saw marked the toys up to at least $7, and many times more than that. And collectors paid it. Over and over.

At one point, Ty, Inc. thought about retiring the Beanie Babies line. Yet customer demand was such that they continued them. They aren’t as trendy as they used to be, but they are still regularly traded. I have a few myself, but never tried to keep them in pristine condition. They’ll be passed along to my son for play toys when he’s old enough, and if he wants them. Except the Princess Di bear. I’m keeping that one.

The things Ms. Spears did during that time was a tabloid’s dream. But so many of us just thought it was sad. And strange. And just a bit surreal. So even though we’re not really fans of her music, we’re still glad that she seems to have moved on from “teh crazy” and into a bit more stability.

This home, located in a gated community called The Summit, has 6 bedrooms and 6 1/2 baths according to listing information. Additionally, it has a wet bar, library, den, and grand foyer. It boasts around 7,500 square feet with high ceilings, millwork, and stone and mosaic tile floors. In fact, the $7,900,000 listing includes select furnishings, accessories and art work. We guess Miss Britney doesn’t want to take along all of her baggage. Ahem.

And who can resist a chef’s kitchen with Viking appliances and a breakfast nook that’s open to the great room? It has a huge island, too, which is a great feature. The pictures only showed a part of the kitchen, so it appears that there may not be a lot of cabinets, which kind of surprises us. But it’s also possible the storage is just out of the frame.

We initially didn’t like the grand foyer pictures, until we saw a shot from the 2nd floor. All you see are the bookshelves on all walls, and a massive chandelier dropping through a cutout in the middle to hover above the foyer.

No real word yet where she plans to go, so we’ll just have to wait and see. Maybe she’s looking for a bit of quiet stability. Lord knows her children could probably use summa that.

Mel Gibson has been in the news so many times we’re not really sure where to start. There was his unexpected box office smash that had Jews all over the place upset over their roles in the film. And then there was the drunk driving incident where he spewed racial slurs and the “F” word all over the place.

So if he thinks he owns Malibu, is he slowly trying to buy it up? He snapped up this 5-bedroom, 4-bath, 6,578-square-foot home for a reported $11.5 million. It had been listed for $12 million. Not too bad considering Duchovny and Leoni bought the place in 1999 for $3.55 million.

The couple was supposedly planning to return to New York so the kids could go to school there. And maybe that was their original intent, but suddenly Duchovny was in rehab for sex addiction. Did we mention he plays a sex-obsessed writer in the show Californication? Yeah. Irony, huh?

The property is a pretty sweet deal, though. It has unobstructed canyon and ocean views, two swimming pools, is private, and has a whopping 5.5 acres. Take a look at pictures below.

The town home was built in 1905 and is somewhere between ~3,700 and ~4,800 square feet depending on which records you peruse. There isn’t a ton of information about Sutherland’s purchase, according to Big Time Listings. But those savvy searchers found a previous listing of the home that mentions several fireplaces and a garden.

We’re quite sad, actually, that we don’t have more pictures so we can admire the architecture of the home and see what it looks like now that it has been converted (reportedly) from a six unit property to a single family.

Does this mean that Kiefer is leaving the west coast? It seems that the next season of 24 is going to be set in Washington, D.C., which could explain why he bought a place on the east coast. Production recently shut down on the series while producers revise the direction of the series’ last six episodes.

Well, darlings, of course Brad Pitt can’t stay out of the news for very long. This time he bought a 1,534-square-foot home in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles. It’s adjacent to several properties that Pitt already owns.

This 1932 two bedroom, one bath home has just a small 0.15 acre lot. And now his total properties in that vicinity is up to four, on just a little over 1 1/2 acres.

We guess that Pitt is doing just what Ellen DeGeneres and Portia DeRossi are doing: buying up property around their home in order to increase the amount of privacy that they have.

Big Time Listings broke the Pitt story, and they list the other Pitt properties as well:
- A 5-bedroom, 1915 craftsman-style house with 5,338 square feet (bought in 1994)
- A 2,454-square-foot home adjoining the first (bought in 1996)
- A 1,653-square-foot home, also adjoining (bought in 1998)

Rumor has it that the newest purchase had a view into Pitt’s original property, so it’s possible that he bought it for privacy concerns. Brad Pitt also owns a couple more homes in California (Malibu and Santa Barbara), one in Nawlins, and possibly a home near his parents in Missouri.

Of course, the biggest news most recently relating to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (or Brangelina as so many of the gossip rags call them) was their rental of Chateau Miraval in France. At the time, rumors flew that the jet-setting couple had paid $60 million for the 1,000+ acre estate and vineyard. Instead, the couple actually leased the the property for three years so Jolie could give birth to their twins in France, in honor of her French grandmother.

It’s quite a mansion that Sampras has sold to Will & Grace creator Max Mutchnick. While it “only” has 5 bedrooms, it has a whopping 12 bathrooms. That’s more than one for every 1,000 square feet. At least there’s little risk of not finding an open bath when you need it.

The hallway and stairs, as you can see in the pictures below, are all wood and pretty amazing. Lots of architectural detail there. Let’s see, in addition to the beds and baths, it has a professional theater (which we noticed has a nice pool table, too), an office/library, and even maid’s quarters. While we don’t care about the maid’s quarters, a nice place to watch movies and football, along with a great office/library is right up our alley.

But what’s even more to our tastes? How about a master suite with a sitting room, his and hers baths, and a sundeck. Now that’s exactly what a master suite needs.

Outside, on 1.04 acres, there’s a pool, putting green, play areas, and a tennis court. Of course there’s a tennis court. And check out the courtyard with fountain. Dramatic, no?

Considering Sampras bought the home for $8,300,000 in 2001, he made a tidy little profit after seven years.
