New York attorney, Mark S. Dreier’s  two Hamptons luxury properties went on the auction block recently and missed the expected sale prices by about $2 million.The Dune Road homes were sold for $10.4 million,  coming in around $2 millon short. Dreier, pled guilty ‘to selling fictitious promissory notes and bilking investors out of hundreds of millions of dollars’, and is having his estate liquidated while free on bail until his July sentencing before Southern District of New York Judge Jed S. Rakoff.

The next property to auction will be 151 E. 58th St. in Manhattan, boasts five bedrooms, a 600-square-foot terrace and floor-to-ceiling windows,. This will be auctioned on July 21 at the Southern District Bankruptcy Court. Interested bidders must present a $500,000 certified check made payable to the trustee. Law.com
