Servicing the provising demands in St Barths is much more difficult, as the island is so very far Europe and the United States where many of the most highly sought after items are sourced... Thank GOD for Marche de L'OASIS! A few years ago, due to the high demand, they launched OASIS PRO, their Yacht and Villa provisioning division, and now deliver direct to all the billionaires' Yachts and Villas!! How many times has Alexis Peissel, the owner/manager literally saved the day or the soiree, shall I say?!? Indeed his exhaustive catalog of thousands of hard to find specialty items, along with the freshest produce from France and the states, makes his place the ONLY possibility for chefs, shopping assistants, and concierges alike! I am just the chanteuse on the scene for the past five years now, but all my best friends in the FWI are yachties and I thought it was only right that I pass on some cool info that will surely make life easier. Oasis lists their number as 0590 590 29 72 46. If you are coming to St Barths, be sure to look them up, and while you're at it look for me at my "office"---SHELL BEACH!
