Mad Libs Creator Sells Out to the Sopranos

08-248003 1Did you ever play with Mad Libs when you were a kid? Whether I played with them on my own or passed them around at school, they were always good for a laugh (even more so if you play them as an adult). Well, the creator of Mad Libs, Leonard B. Stern, has sold his home in Beverly Hills to Sopranos writer Terence Winter.

Stern is known for much more than Mad Libs. He was a TV producer and writer, too. Ever hear of “The Jackie Gleason Show” or “Get Smart”? Then you’re familiar with some of his work.

Our friends over at Big Time Listings report that the 5,688 square foot home sold for just over $4 million. The listing was originally at $4.75 million. With six bedrooms and six baths, this home is certainly spacious.

We’re loving the high ceilings and wood floors in the dining and living room. But the powder blue carpet and wallpaper in what appears to be the master suite has got to go.

The house was built in 1928 and it appears to be in good shape for an 80-year-old place. You can see pictures below.
