Manhattan luxury real estate agent, Peter Comitini has been ranked in the top 2% of his company’s real estate agents – nationally. Peter is part of the Corcoran group, which is owned by NRT. The parent company also owns CitiHabitats, Sothbey’s Real Estate, Coldwell Banker, and Century 21 and has more than 54,000 agents, making this a fantastic achievement. A letter from the CEO, Bruce Zipf, states:
Your achievement is even more impressive given that your high-level of production occurred during what many now feel was the most challenging quarter of our professional lifetime. You have truly proven that you are the best of the best.
So, congratulations Peter, and it comes as no surprise to me. Peter’s blog is here: Peter Comitini.
One of the issues facing the industry at the moment is the perceived level of dishonesty in the business, and it is good to see someone combating that perception. I have known Peter for some time, and have always been impressed with his ethical approach and desire to see his clients succeed before his own success.
During the “boom,” years, just about anyone could hang out a shingle and start selling luxury McMansions by the bucketful, and if one good thing is to come out of the current financial mess, is that we will hopefully lose the cowboys and start reconsidering our priorities. As Peter points out, quality will out in a tough market, and his decision to concentrate on a small, niche property market is a wise one.
Once again – Congratulations Peter. Have a glass of champagne on me.
