Who hasn’t heard of the embittered divorce proceedings between Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills? Nastiness ensued as Mills asked for a healthy sum of money for her four years with the music icon (was it really only four years – it seems so much longer, doesn’t it). She was awarded less than one-fifth of her original settlement demands. During the divorce battles, though, tales of McCartney’s real estate holdings have been making the rounds.
According to This is London, McCartney’s properties span the globe. And as fabulously wealthy as Sir Paul is, these luxury properties are no slouches.
The properties This is London mentioned include:
A town house in upmarket St. John’s Wood (London)

A mid-town Manhattan apartment

A house on Long Island

A home in Beverly Hills

Peasmarsh, a 1500-acre estate in East Sussex, where he spent a lot of time with his beloved first wife, Linda

A country retreat in the Mull of Kintyre, Scotland

Additional homes in East Sussex, Essex, Somerset and Merseyside
There has been speculation on the ownership of the house in Beverly Hills. But some of Real Estalker’s sources insist that Sir Paul owns the place and it’s just in a trust in someone else’s name. (Apparently these days it’s not just all the gold in California that’s in Beverly Hills in somebody else’s name.) The obscenely rich Sir Paul intends to live quietly, though, spending much of his time at Peasmarsh or St. John’s Wood. Poor man. It seems he just can’t find the companionship he once had with his dear, departed Linda.

Didn’t Paul and Linda have a large farm outside Phoenix, Arizona? I remember driving across from California to Florida in 2005 and seeing a big sign off I-10 east, “McCartney Way”, presumably near their farm there. Maybe he sold it? It seems he doesn’t sell real property, which reflects his philosophy of being grounded in life. What a nice man for all his wealth and accomplishments, remaining as a great husband, father and friend if you’re lucky enough to know him.
I’m not sure, Jay. I didn’t see anything mentioned, but that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t have something there, possibly under someone else’s name, like his Beverly Hills estate is rumored to be.
Oh “sure” that’s Paul’s Rd.
)))) Would Paul like to attract attention to the place where he lives? I do not think so
))People are such a morons!
His ranch was in Tucson on Redding Road. I heard it sold but Linda pass away there and I cant imagine him selling it.
Paul gave the ranch to his kids when Linda died
Yes! McCartney owns this property in Tucson, Arizona:
14101 E Redington Rd Tucson, AZ 85749.

Linda died there, in fact. I’ve read he keeps it as a memorial for the family.
the manhattan appartment isnt his house, its an office for his mpl publishing company
does anyone know the address to the scotland farm?
Doesn’t McCartney have a home in Liverpool or on the Wirral somewhere, does anybody know anything about this?
A friend of mine from highschool – “Dave Torrens” – had (or maybe still has) an aunt that lives next to the McCartney ranch in Arizona! Apparently – one day, when he was basically a young teen, he was on horseback in the back of his aunts place – just puttering around on the horse, when Paul came out, opened a big gate that opened up to his property, and told Dave he could ride around in the mountains on his property if he wanted to. Didn’t say much, other than that… but Dave said he seemed like such a nice guy!!!
What must be incredibly difficult for any celebrity, but especially one of Sir Paul’s caliber, is to not really have any privacy of any kind. Obviously he does have ’some’ privacy, in a sense…but, the general public does not need to know where he lives or has lived, that’s just my opinion. I get the fact the fans are interested in seeing his home…seeing where Sir Paul lives would be pretty cool.
However, with the inception of the Internet, no one really has any privacy…I believe that homes of the uber famous need to be removed from the Internet…For safety’s sake.
Some things in life need to (and should) remain private. Yeah, he’s a massively famous guy, but I firmly believe that when he isn’t touring or making public appearances, people should leave him alone and let him enjoy as normal a life as possible.
He needs some privacy Linda passed away at Arizona property nuff said
@Jay: Paul McCartney owns a home in Tucson, Arizona-that’s where Linda died. He’s owned that property for many years!
Kathys right. they ended up name a street of the 1-5 after him. you pass by it when you head norht towards Phoenix
Paul McCartney is not “obscenely rich,” as you put it. He has a billion dollars or so. He earned every penny of it by working his tail off. He enlightened a billion or so people on the earth. He brought joy to multiple generations of people. He wrote songs that people know by heart and sing to their spouses on their wedding days. He helped light the fuse on a cultural movement that challenged the planet to be a better place. “Obscenely” rich? A very poor choice of words for one of the greatest stories of our time. He deserves to be ten times wealthier than he is.
Barley, I’ll agree with one thing that you said. He does have a few BILLION dollars. Well earned, I might add. But, if your’e going to dispute his wealth, that’s as far as that will go. Now, what you need to understand is he is “OBSCENELY RICH” Besides entertaining people all over the world for 50 or more years, – His music catalouge (MPL) is one of the largest privately owned catalouges in the world. Royalties come his way like you wouldn’t believe. He owns BUDDY HOLLY’S, FRANKIE VALLI’S, CARL PERKINS catalouges and lots more. All of the music to ANNIE, GREASE, CHORUS LINE, GUYS AND DOLLS, and 5000 SONGS OF OTHER ARTISTS and much more. His wealth is enormous, but he’s as down to earth as anyboy can possibly be…
I was 16 in 1969. I grew up with the Beatles and I just wish Paul all the happiness in the world.
Someone needs to 1) Get an English dictionary.2) Look up obscene. 3) Come back and apologise.
Bankers, for example, ARE obscenely rich…
Yes, that’s right; one billion bucks is some money, but by no means an “obscene” amount. Here in Canada there are about 185,000 people who have more than $1-Million, so that’s no biggie. I assume there are about 2,000 of them who have well over $1-Billion… and that’s just Canada. The U.K. probably has several thousand people who have several times (or dozens of times) McCartney’s wealth. That’s not the point though. Once you “collect” over $10-Million, it re-makes itself (so to say) and life just can’t get any better… I mean it just IS life, and there it is as it is, just enjoy it with all its nature and love and colors and such. Oh, and when you get the chance, enjoy some music, McCartney’s or other musicians’ whatever you like. Have fun and keep smiling!
Yes Paul has a house in Tucson, but McCartney road south of Phoenix was not named for him. Rather for an Arizona pioneer family.
As far as I know Paul still owns a house on Baskervyle Road, Heswall called Rembrandt
It’s simply a coincidence that a “McCartney Road” exists outside of Casa Grande (between Phoenix and Tucson). It has absolutely no bearing on Sir Paul or his ranch in Tucson.
To Rob in Canada, if you think a billion dollars is “by no means an obscene amount of money,” take into consideration that a billionaire is a millionaire a thousand times over. Unlike most billionaires in the world, Paul McCartney is a self made man. He came from a working class family in Northern England. By the way, the idea that “once you make 10 million, it just remakes itself and life just can’t get better” is false. One must be very careful and responsible with that kind of money, it can vanish quickly with poor investments, living a lavish lifestyle and foolish spending. McCartney has always been very conservative with his money. In fact, if you look the homes he has had, with the exception of the house in Beverly Hills (which has yet to be confirmed to be his), none of them are lavish mansions (which Paul can easily afford), but rather practical houses. For instance, when Paul decided to purchase a summer vacation home in Long Island, he did not look at beachfront estates where all the celebrities have homes, but instead chose to buy a much more conservative house away from the shore. He could easily outspend all of the rich people there, but chooses to remain practical…always has, always will.
What a great performer he is. My son took me to one of his concerts in 2005 and the place was going wild. Old folks and young folks, right next to me was a 16 year old girl screaming her head off. She was great, she knew all the words too. Best show of my life. I would go again. Three hours of great music. Very emotional.
