There were conflicting stories about whether they were rethinking the sale or wanting to return to New York, and their agent wouldn’t confirm whether the house had an offer.

David Duchovny and Téa Leoni put their Malibu home on the market for $12 million. And then they dropped the listing just a couple of weeks later. What gives?
Hot Property reports conflicting stories. We’ve heard they want to return to New York – maybe even before school starts. I guess even the beautiful ocean view isn’t enough to make them forget about the frequent Malibu fires. But their agent says they like the house so much they’re trying to make up their minds. She wouldn’t comment on whether the 6,578 square-foot house has an offer (another reason to withdraw the listing).
