Bachelor pad now has a reduced price

4-1
Back in June, we talked about a little house known by millions of TV-viewers as The Bachelor’s pad. It’s the house where many a rose ceremony was performed - by contestants on both “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette.”

The home was listed for $12,995,000. And it looks like the owner, a contractor, is having a 33% off sale. The price has dropped to $8,750,000. The 6-bedroom, 9-bathroom home sits on 10 acres in Agoura.

We remember well how much we drooled over the THREE Wolf ovens and subzero freezers. Not to mention that pool, which should probably be on our Swimming Pools list under… something.

But with a softening SoCal market, it’s not a surprise that many luxury places are reducing their prices.

It’s still a gorgeous place - check out the photos of this amazing property. It was built with materials from Mexico, Morocco, China and India.

Bachelor pad up for sale

4-1

For those TV watchers who are familiar with reality shows “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” this house will look familiar. That’s because it was the house where the rose ceremony was performed each week.

The owner, Marshall Haraden, is a contractor. He has listed the home for $12,995,000. The home is on 10 acres in Agoura, not terribly far from Malibu beaches. It’s approximately 8,000 square feet with 6 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms, according to the listing.

While the builder was “green” in that he kept excavated rock to use around the property, he still went to some far-flung places to gather varying elements. Mr. Haraden actually went to Mexico to study the architecture and colors so he could create an authentic-looking home.

The property boasts an A/V room, a solar-heated saltwater swimming pool that looks like an aqueduct, and a 4,000 square foot building that can be used as a hobby studio or office.

The pictures we have don’t do it justice (there are even more on the listing site). Just the kitchen alone makes us drool with envy. We’re talking a granite and limestone cooking island that is huge, THREE Wolf ovens, and a subzero freezer.

Take some time to scroll through the pics, especially noting the pool area.
