Bono Sells His Central Park West Co-Op

Bono from U2U2 front man Bono recently sold his El Dorado co-op for $4.9 million. He originally bought the place for $3.4 million - a tidy little profit. According to The New York Observer, he had moved out of the apartment five years ago so he could live in Steve Jobs’ old place just down the block at San Remo.

The El Dorado place originally went on the market for $5.95 million in March 2006. Looks like over a year on the market and a $1 million price drop was what it needed. We don’t think he’ll miss a measly million though. This little abode has 2 small bedrooms, a master suite, and a nice view of Central Park from the living room and terrace.

Since Bono and his wife are still in the old Jobs’ apartment, it makes us wonder if he finally found what he’s looking for? Oh, c’mon. You knew that was coming, my darlings.
