But it’s much less formal than the living room with white couches and another fireplace. Again, more nice views and architectural detail in the room. Just off of that is a den that is dark red and kinda spooky. We love red, but it’s a bit too much in this space. We suppose it’d be a good place for the guys and their scotch and cigars if you’re into that kind of thing.

The master suite is huge. We love the windows and he fireplace. His and hers baths are a nice touch. But as everyone else has mentioned, what’s up with the his bath opening up into the gym? It’s a nice bath, but a little strange. Guess the shower is awfully convenient, though.

Of course, the outdoor spaces are nice. Pool, spa, nice yard. But that 4 acres is awfully hilly. Not as much running around room for kids and dogs as you’d expect.

We’ve been fans of Tim and Faith for many years, although some of Tim’s more recent music has been out of our range of taste. And ever since Faith’s little 2006 incident on the CMA’s where she acted mad that Carrie Underwood won best female artist, we just haven’t enjoyed her as much. Hill said it was a joke, but c’mon. It’s hard to hide your initial reaction to something like that. She didn’t immediately say it was a joke, either. Sorry, Faith, you didn’t fool anyone. You were surprised, and trying to save face later.

The McGraws aren’t the only country music stars coming and going from LA. Earlier this summer, Garth & Trisha bought in Malibu. And Kenny Chesney did a quick turnaround in Malibu. In June, it was Deana Carter listing in Hollywood Hills.
